7 Home Remedies for Acne & Pimples that Work
Anybody can judge our health by just paying a glance at your face, by just looking at the skin. ‘The first impression is the last impression’, if your skin is showing rash patches, you lose the impression and get embarrassed. If the face is riddled with acne & pimples, it indicates that you have a low immune system. It can be due to many reasons like an oxidative ruin, hormonal imbalance and your food habits that is bankrupt in nutritious value. From gentle to severe, it outbreaks on the face, back, chest or arms. 85% of the youth have it, but it can break out in the adults too.
Major reasons for their outbreak are stress, genetics, altering hormonal levels and lack or less of sleep. You need to eat a healthy diet and clean your skin, in a gentle way, so that you can look fresh and rejuvenated. There are some homemade remedies that are easily available, which help in eradicating these pimples and making sure that they never come back. We will discuss some of them:
1. Clean Skin with Honey
Makeup & skin care creams contain chemicals that elevate acne & pimples breakout. To eradicate these you need to clean your skin in a gentle way, to stop this irritation, which is caused by acne & pimples. Get some vital oils like tea tree oil, which strengthens the skin, coconut oil that helps in fighting the fungus, apple cider vinegar, probiotics, and honey, which makes the skin flexible. Mix all these fluids and dampen your skin with warm water. Now massage this mixture on your infected part of the skin. After massaging it rinse your skin well and dry. Better be regular and do this procedure every morning & evening. Don’t overdo it, otherwise, it will worsen your skin, making it secret more oils, You will get positive results within some weeks.
2. Make Healing
In order to remove these blemishes, acne & pimples, you can use a variety of masks that are easy to make at home.
- Yogurt and Honey Mask
Mix 1 tablespoon of yogurt with an equal quantity of honey. Apply gently on the infected part, paying attention to the hairline & jawline. Don’t move an inch for 10 minutes. After that wipe off with a damp cloth.
- Cinnamon and Honey Mask
Mix 2 tablespoon of raw honey, 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and half a spoon powder of Cinnamon. Stir well and apply it gently on the infected part. If it’s on the face, keep away from the eyes. for 5-10 minutes and after that remove with a damp cloth. Honey and Cinnamon use their anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties in eradicating acne & pimples.
Add a few drops of tea tree oil to the above mentioned masks for a better effect, as tea tree oil is considered the best home remedies for acne.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
To restore the skin’s natural pH balance, you need to tone it up. Use authentic Apple Cider Vinegar as your morning & evening toner, and better be regular. It is rich in magnesium, potassium, acetic acid and a number of enzymes that destroy the bacteria of the skin. Chronic acne breaks out only with the Apply ACV, with the help of cotton ball on the infected area. Be alert when applying on the active breakouts. You will get the result very soon.
4. Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil is considered the best remedy, when removing acne, pimples and other blemishes happen. It is also used as an antiseptic to heal wounds. It also wrestles with fungus & bacteria. It is available in the gel & syrup form, it might be a little slow to make its effect, but when it does, it completely eradicates your acne & pimples making your skin fully radiant. Get 4 to 8 drops of tea tree oil and mix 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to it, now dap gently on the infected part. A little tingling might be there , if it’s severed then just stop and use another alternative. Always use it with a carrier oil, for your skin as it won’t be able to bear it all alone.
5. Holy Basil for fighting Bacteria
Basil, whether holy or sweet has some ingredients that are arch rivals of the bacteria causing acne. It has been discovered that sweet Basil outperforms holy Basil (Tulsi in Hindi) tea, but holy Basil tea controls the sugar and hormone levels and keeps a perfect balance of the hormones, reducing the chances of an outbreak of acne & pimples. Holy Basil tea’s water can be applied directly to the infected area.
6. Moisturize
Dry skin usually produces more oil than necessary, thus blocking pores of the skin, acne is inevitable. For dry skin, you need Coconut oil, the best product for moisturizing the skin. It has lauric acid that battles the bacteria that has brought acne trouble. It also has some anti-oxidants and medium fatty acids that removes all the acne & pimples.
A warm ¼ spoon of Coconut oil and rub it on the infected area, which is totally clean, with your bare hands. Allow the skin to absorb it for 5-10minutes. Wipe out with a dry cloth. It will work magically to remove dryness and make the skin supple again.
7. Guggul
If you are suffering from cystic acne, Guggul herb has the remedy for you. It supplements work faster than many other medicines, it’s a fact discovered by research. Capsules of Guggul herb can be purchased from any Ayurvedic firm, take 2 a day for 3 months and all your skin problems will be erased.
