Ayurvedic Treatment of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura is an autoimmune condition in which the destruction of the platelets leads to the excess of bleeding. At initial stages, it is not a big deal, but with time it becomes a critical condition. So, it is better to take treatment at the initial stage.
In the modern system of medicines, doctors prescribe over-the-counter medications such as steroids that alleviate the symptoms, but also cause many side effects that lead to many complications. They also recommend transfusion of platelets, which increase platelet count but platelets get decrease again after some time. Surgery is also a treatment option that has many side effects.

Causes

Androgens
It can also be prescribed for ITP patients but avoid in women. It also has a side effect, it grows unwanted hair at different parts of the body.
Surgery
Surgery is the last option in modern medicine when platelets are not increased. The spleen is removed from the body because it destroys the platelets but is not always successful. The removal of spleen decreases the body’s ability to cope against infections of various kinds.

1. Giloy Capsules
Giloy Capsules are formulated by using the standardized extract of herb Guduchi, with the Latin name of Tinosporacordifolia. This herb helps to balance Vata and Pitta dosha in the body which is directly associated with ITP. These capsules increase platelet count. It also has antioxidant and astringent properties.
Dosage:
For Kids (< 5 years): One capsule, twice daily, with water after meals.

2. Ashwagandha Capsules

8. Infee Syrup

It acts as a digestive tonic for infants and children. It improves appetite, and physical and mental strength. It enhances the growth and development of the child. 10. Praval Panchamrit
These tablets are prepared with the natural mineral such as mukti bhasma (pearl), shank bhasma (Conch shell), shukti bhasma (Pearl oyster), Kapardak bhasma (kaudi). All these herbs help to treat the autoimmune disorder and boost the immune system.

12. Suvarna Basant Malti Ras
