Ayurvedic Treatment For Adenocarcinoma of the Lung
Adenocarcinoma is the most common of all the lung cancers and whenever the word Adeno in front of a carcinoma, that means it is happening in the glands. So, adenocarcinoma is a glandular cancer of the lungs.
Lung adenocarcinoma accounts for about 40% of all the lung cancers. It tends to grow more slowly than the other kinds of lung cancers. As compared to the other types of lung cancers, adenocarcinoma is likely to be confined to the one location only.

Risk Factors Responsible for Causing Adenocarcinoma
- Smoking : Cigarette smoking is the most leading factor for lung cancer. Cigarette smokers are more likely to develop lung cancer as compared to non-smokers. Cigar and pipe smoking are equally responsible for causing adenocarcinoma.
- Exposure to radon gas : Radon is a colourless, odourless and radioactive gas formed in the ground. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer.
- Exposure to asbestos : Asbestos is a mineral which is found in insulation, fireproofing materials etc. people who work in buildings with asbestos containing materials that are deteriorating also have an increased risk of lung cancer.
- Exposure to cancer causing agents such as diesel extract, uranium, vinyl chloride, nickel chromates, coal products, mustard gas and gasoline
Diagnosis and Treatment of Adenocarcinoma
Diagnosis is done by taking health history such as smoking habits. Then, certain imaging tests such as chest X-ray will be done. If the X-ray shows anything suspicious, then a CT scan will be done.
Other tests such as sputum sample, biopsy, bronchoscopy etc. are also performed.
Treatment: Modern treatment depends on the stage of the disease. Treatment options include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy.

1. Curcumin 95 % Capsules
Curcumin 95% Capsules of Planet Ayurveda are prepared from the pure extract of the herb Curcuma longa. It has anti-cancerous properties which is mainly mediated through induction of apoptosis. Curcuminoids are capable of preventing free radical formation as well as neutralising the free radicals. These capsules are beneficial in all types of cancers especially in adenocarcinoma as well as small cancer of the lungs.
Dose : 1-2 Capsules twice daily, with plain water, after meals.
2. Tulsi Capsules
Tulsi Capsules of Planet Ayurveda are prepared from the standardised extract of the herb Ocimum sanctum. These capsules are quite effective for all types of cancers. It is a natural immune-modulator also. It is prophylactic against the negative effects of environmental toxins including cancer.
Dose : 1-2 capsules, twice daily with plain water after meals.
