Cutaneous larva migrans can be stated as a parasitic skin infection developed by hookworm larvae which are known for causing infections in dogs, cats and various other animals. - Bunostomum phlebotomum: cattle hookworm.

- Ancylostoma braziliense: a dog hookworm of domestic and wild dogs and cats found in the Caribbean, Central and South America, Southern and Central US.
