Treatment Of Epidermolysis Bullosa In Ayurveda With Herbal Remedies
Abstract
Epidermolysis A rare group of illnesses known as bullosa are genetically inherited and are defined by the development of mucocutaneous blisters followed by minor trauma. At least 20 distinct genes have mutations that lead to the disease. These disorders are not managed in the same way. The only objective of modern therapy is the control of pain and wounds. All relevant details about the condition are covered in this article.
Introduction
A collection of uncommon disorders known as epidermolysis bullosa exhibit clinical and genetic heterogeneity. The epithelial tissues are moderately to severely fragile, blisters occur, and there is little to no trauma. At least 20 separate genes have undergone mutations as a result of it. It typically develops in newborns or young children.”Epidermolysis bullosa” (EB) is the name given to a group of rare inherited skin disorders that cause extremely fragile skin. Any tension or friction can cause blisters to form on the skin.
Causes
A defective gene (gene mutation) that makes skin more brittle is the root cause of EB. A parent who also has EB may have passed on the problematic gene to their offspring. Or perhaps both of their parents, who are merely “carriers” and do not have EB themselves, passed the flawed gene down to them.
