Home Remedies for Chest Pain
Chest pain is a condition of feeling discomfort or pain in front of your body somewhere between the neck and upper abdomen. This pain differs depending on the individual. The chest pain can both be dangerous and simple. It differs in every individual, if it persists for a long time or happens quite frequently, you need to get it checked by a physician. If you feel your chest congested and making breathing a tough job, rush to your doctor otherwise it might be just acid reflux, or gas getting accumulated in the gut and pushing the food back, this process is known as regurgitation, spoiling the taste of your mouth. But it is also in our hands to protect our body from being affected by the situation and if we have it then how to prevent it from reaching a critical condition. “Health is wealth,” it seems to be the fact when such trouble sprouts up. You need to eat healthy food to enjoy the life that nature has bestowed with you. Instead of having all the oily, junk, processed, packaged, smoking, alcoholic drinks, better opt for some natural remedies that are available in your kitchen garden or you can buy them with a branded name from your local grocery store. Today we are going to discuss the home remedies that help you remove the pressure from your chest and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
1. Garlic
The main function of Garlic is to improve the blood flow and make it normal and also helps in cardiovascular diseases, which are liable for causing pain in the chest. So having Garlic in your daily diet can help in dodging many diseases. Just take a teaspoon of Garlic and add it to a cup of warm water. Stir well and drink this cup daily or you can also chew 1 or 2 Garlic cloves early in the morning on an empty stomach.
2. Aloe Vera Juice
It is a valuable herb that takes care of many disorders that affect one’s body. It is like a treasure to keep your body healthy. It strengthens your cardiovascular system, reduces high blood pressure, triglyceride level and regulates good cholesterol. All these functions help in relaxing the chest and make the congestion & pain vanish. Take 1.4 cups of Aloe Vera juice and drink it daily, once or twice depends on your condition.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar
It has numerous anti-inflammatory properties. These ease the heartburn and acid reflux, which are mostly found to be responsible for causing chest pains. Take 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and dissolve it in a glass of filtered water and stir well. Drink this whenever you have chest pains, for instant relief or you can have it before having meals, as it keeps a check on the digestive troubles.
4. Turmeric
Turmeric contains a rich ingredient, curcumin that takes good care of the oxidation of cholesterol, builds up plaque inside the arteries and does not allow clots to form, all of these symptoms are responsible for causing chest pain and other heart problems like stroke, which may prove fatal. It also has immense anti-inflammatory properties that reduce the intensity of chest pain. Take half teaspoon of turmeric powder and mix it in a glass of warm milk and take it daily before meals to get relief from any type of chest pain.
5. Cayenne Pepper
It possesses capsaicin, which has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that decrease the intensity of the chest pain. It also enhances blood circulation and evades many heart diseases that are to be blamed for causing chest congestion & pain. Get 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and add it to a glass of any fruit juice you love drinking. Stir vigorously, and drink it daily to escape from the chest troubles.
6. Basil
Basil is rich in having vitamin K and magnesium that enhances the blood flow. Vitamin K helps prevent damage caused by cholesterol on blood vessel walls. Thus it helps in curing all cardiovascular troubles that are the ones who bring chest pain usually. Get 8 -10 Basil leaves and wash them well with plain water. Now chew these raw leaves, if you do not like its taste, then you can extract their juice and eat it daily with honey. You also get basil tea in the market, make it a habit to drink 2 or 3 cups a day.
7. Almonds
Almond is a nut that tastes yummy and has lots of health benefits. It has an immense quantity of polyunsaturated fatty acids that strengthens the health of the cardiovascular system. It also maintains a healthy level of cholesterol in the blood. Take a handful of almonds and soak them in plain water for a few hours. After 2 or 3 hours peel them and eat. You can also mix the Almond oil in rose oil and rub it on your chest to get instant relief. Do it once a day at least to get effective results.
8. Fenugreek Seeds
Fenugreek seeds also have strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that enhance the health of the cardiovascular system to a high level. It helps improve the blood flow to the heart, makes it function normally and also reduces high levels of cholesterol. Get 1 teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds and soak them in a glass of water overnight. Consume this water after straining in the morning on an empty stomach. You have another quick method; boil a glass of water with 1 teaspoon of Fenugreek seeds for 5 minutes. Drink the mixture after straining. Do it for once or twice a day.
Some other Remedies to Heal the Chest Pain
You can also drink some hot beverages like hot water or some herbal tea which helps to remove the buildup in the chest, which causes chest pain. Bloating & indigestion are also eased by this formula, as hot drinks enhance the heart health. You can also have an option to have Alfalfa, Ginger, and Pomegranate juice, with these home remedies you can do some physical exercise, Yoga & meditation, which will just accelerate your recovery from chest pain.
